Kiera-Lorelle, a South-London based contemporary RnB singer, built her music on foundations primarily from jazz.
Whilst Lorelle didn’t come from a musical family, her performing arts schools introduced her to a world of musicals, so she found inspiration from there, as well from as her favourites Corinne bailey Rae, Frank Sinatra, Mary J Blige and Ella Fitzgerald.
Kiera-Lorelle spent the earlier part of the 2010s working with musicians and rappers across Europe, fuelling a particular interest in hip-hop and R&B styled sounds. Ultimately, it allowed her to hone her sound built on foundations of the Jazz and Soul genres. Her first two releases, ‘WDWG’ and ‘Au Revoir Tristesse’ flirt between Jazz as well as R&B, with electro sounds.
Shortly after, Kiera-Lorelle relocated to France for her studies, and is also where she wrote and recorded her debut EP ‘A Nonchalant Entry’. Released in 2019, the three-song EP shows her love for candid lyrics, simple melodies and vocal harmonies, and defines her; playful, yet honest and sultry. Listen to the EP here.
In 2021 Kiera-Lorelle created her alter-ego, TiTi Rose as an answer to her love for house music, dj’ing and collaborating her vocals with house producers. She allows TiTi to explore within the realms of house, never forgetting to take her listeners on a journey into her world and what makes her groove.
